Felicite Takouam - Founder
Born in Cameroon, Felicite Makuissu Takouam is married and has been blessed with four children. She spent her late teenage years in Belgium, where she earned a degree in Pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Toxicology from the University of Liège.
On January 12, 2006, after receiving a clear call to ministry from God Almighty, she sought to deepen her understanding of His Word and His ways. Her quest led her to Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago, where she earned a Master’s degree in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship in 2021.
In 2015, after attending a women's conference in the United States, she received a divine message: "Blow the trumpet."However, it took many years before she gained clear direction regarding this calling, which ultimately led to the birth of The Trumpet Blower Ministries.
The Trumpet Blower Ministries is a multifaceted organization with a mission centered on the revival and flourishing of God’s Church. Its goal is to see people from all tribes, languages, and nations come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior—to the glory of God.
The Calling
The calling I received on January 12, 2006, was a vivid call to repentance and consecration. Then, nearly ten years later, God called me to "Blow the Trumpet."
Just as God called me to repent before Him, live by faith, and follow Him, He later called me to blow the trumpet—to summon His people, His Church, to repentance, to a life of prayer, and of faith in the one true and living God (Micah 3:8; Hosea 8:1).
In Scripture, the blowing of the trumpet is often a call to repentance—a summons to turn from one’s own ways and idols back to the living God. It is a call to faith and renewal in the one true God.
In the hands of God's servant, the trumpet is meant to declare transgression to the people, for God’s loving-kindness always calls people to repent and turn to Him—the only source of true life. Our greatest problem is sin, which separates us from God. Therefore, we must repent, believe the gospel, and surrender to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
